International flights

All our holidays are sold either as ‘ground only’ arrangements, or packaged together with your international flights. You can choose whether or not to book your flights through us, or to make your own arrangements. The prices shown on each tour page do not therefore include flights to and from the start/end point of the itinerary. We price our tours this way to give you more flexibility in your choice of airline, flight times and overall travel dates, and as we welcome travellers from outside the UK, your departure airport.

If you would like us to book your flights for you, please let us know your ideal dates and departure airport. We will then check availability with our flight agents and provide options & quotes from a range of different airlines for you to choose from. You are not obliged to use the flights that we offer you and are welcome to search for and book other options if you wish (for example through specialist flight websites like ebookers or opodo).

Travellers starting their tour from outside the UK may well be able to obtain cheaper fares locally.

We hold an ATOL (10467). Many of the flights and flight-inclusive holidays on this website are financially protected by the ATOL scheme. But ATOL protection does not apply to all holiday and travel services listed on this website. Please ask us to confirm what protection may apply to your booking. If you do not receive an ATOL Certificate then the booking will not be ATOL protected. If you do receive an ATOL Certificate but all the parts of your trip are not listed on it, those parts will not be ATOL protected. Please see our booking conditions for information, or for more information about financial protection and the ATOL Certificate go to:www.atol.org.uk/ATOLCertificate

Airport Transfers

Upon arrival at the airport you will normally be met by one of our representatives, before being transferred directly to your first accommodation. We will provide full details and arrival instructions when you book your tour.

Carbon offsetting

Each time you take a flight CO2 is added into the atmosphere. CO2 is a greenhouse gas that is released when fossil fuels such as oil, gas and coal are burnt. Greenhouse gases are a major contributor to climate change and Uncover the World Travel strongly supports carbon offsetting as part of a balanced personal approach to conservation and environmental responsibility. More information on carbon offsetting is given in our responsible travel policy.
